Forced Vengeance

Director:  James Fargo
Writers:  James Fargo, Franklin Thompson
Starring:  Chuck Norris, Michael Cavanaugh, Mary Louise Weller

After his adoptive father and the elder man’s son are murdered for not selling their casino to a rival with ties to the Chinese mob, casino security guard Josh Randall (Norris) must fight to protect his remaining family.  With a little help from an old war buddy and a cop who heads up an international task force, Randall kicks, punches and chops his way to the source of the corruption for a final showdown.

This is your typical Norris action/karate film dating back to the early 80’s when all kinds of films similar to this were flooding the genre.  As expected it has plenty of fighting, a simple plot and a script that includes the typical Chuck Norris voice over in various scenes.  Considering there is no wire work or special effects like in a lot of modern martial arts action films this is an entertaining film for its time.
