Upon defeating his lifelong nemesis Metro Man the villainous Megamind realizes that life has no meaning without a hero to oppose him.  After hatching a master plan to create a new rival using DNA collected from Metro Man a new hero named Titan is released upon Metro City.  What seems like the perfect plan soon turns into a major disaster as Titan refuses to become the intended  hero.  Now in unfamiliar territory, Megamind  must find a way to clean up his mess, save Metro City, and the woman he has fallen for.

Although the story wasn’t anything I hadn’t seen before, I enjoyed this film.  It combines humor geared more towards adults, hints of existing superhero origins, and a decent soundtrack. As expected of Dreamworks the animation does not disappoint.

Will Ferrell was a perfect fit for the role of Megamind and David Cross did a good job providing the voice of Minion.  Brad Pitt surprisingly didn’t have much dialogue in the film, but played his part well enough as did Tina Fey.  Lastly, Jonah Hill, who I have always seen as one dimensional was rather disappointing.

Over all a good movie which falls in line with the rest of Dreamwork’s films.  The only thing I have left to do now is get myself a forget me stick.
